I met the presence of the Lord and He gave me a new heart, a new mind and a new start. His Holy Spirit filled me and has opened up my spiritual eyes.
My will became His Will.
My plans became His plans.
My heart is now after God’s heart.
I let go of my old life and leaped into faith that He will be with me wherever I go. He will not forsake me. He is the Father that will always provide, support, love and make the way. I trust God with all my heart and soul. I only want to rest in Him and show others the love that He freely offers.
He has brought me out of Melbourne to Mullumbimby, Australia in Feb/March and what awaited me was the gift of His salvation, to be born again in His Grace. From then on my life was changed, my eyes were opened and His Holy Spirit followed me wherever I went. The love I was searching for was truly Him all along. He freed me from my past and washed me into newness. I am His beloved daughter
He allowed me to see my family in April for my grandfather’s funeral in New Zealand and I got to share my testimony and the gospel with all my family. I also got the chance to meet my niece for the first time. He gave me that chance to be with my family, little did I know where He was going to take me next.
After my baptism in May, He was like right it’s show time! He took me out of Australia in June in just a few days and I left everything behind. I tried to get into Seattle but He took me on a detour instead. I didn’t understand where He was leading me, all the supposed plans went out the window. I didn’t know where to go but His Spirit was with me all along, comforting me and telling me He’s got this, “trust child”.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
I held onto this verse as I was stranded in Doha, Qatar trying to figure out a destination to go. Kenya? London? Spain? I was in transit for 4 days on 65+ hours of flights, sleeping in airports and yet His presence was with me. His peace enveloped me and all I needed to do was to trust in Him.
With every step of faith, He took me to Mexico, Greece, Mexico again, Spain, Portugal, Scotland and now in London. With no income and His full provision. Jesus offers everything you need! Most of all sweet salvation <3
I swam in waterfalls, camped for a week on the island of Patmos, swimming every morning and sunset, shared the gospel with anyone and everyone, prayed for souls, shared my testimony, helped out on farms, ate amazing food, made new friends, learnt new skills, worshipped Him, praised Him and surrendered to His Grace.
Now I’m in London, the harvest is plenty in this city. I meet new people everyday and share what He has done in my life and the precious good news. I get paid to teach biblical studies to children and I get to learn His word at the same time. I have a beautiful home from my church and I get to live with my sisters. I don’t know what’s next… but I’m excited. Everything has happened so quickly yet His peace encompasses everything.
I just want to be used for His Kingdom, to bring His glory to everyone I meet. His love is immeasurable and His mercy is wide. I have and own nothing but His love.
He is truly a wonderful God.
